Are You Brave?
What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear “be brave?” I used to think the word meant tough, strong and showing no fear. That is usually what it means in the movies and superhero books.
Brave looks different to me these days. It means being vulnerable, getting up after being knocked down and especially loving with your whole heart.
I found this description and am sharing it with you because I bet you are brave everyday and didn’t even know it.
I do not know the author, or I would give them credit….
I think it’s brave.
I think It’s brave that you get up in the morning when your heart aches and life is messy and you do not feel like being soft for the world. I think it is brave that you continue to love and express and open your soul, despite the way you were treated in the past. I think it is brave that you keep going, that you keep believing in something more, something bigger, even when you may not even know what you are hoping for. I think it is brave that you fight,
I think it is brave that you choose, every single day, to move forward because that is what makes you strong. That is what makes you strong.
I hope you enjoyed that as much as I did when I read it and that maybe you can see yourself as a very brave soul.
Cheers,
MG
