Who Cares!

Who and what we care about drive the majority of our behaviors. Who doesn’t want to be cared for? It’s human nature. We are born needing someone to care for us in order to survive.

As we get older and can take care of ourselves, the need to be cared for doesn’t go away. It’s as necessary to our well being as it was the day we were born. The type of care changes from being fed, burped, dressed, and protected. It looks different as adults. I have found that people don’t care what you know until they know that you care.

If you find yourself in legal trouble and are looking for an attorney to represent you in court, you naturally want to hire the very best attorney you can afford. One of the things that could trump how fabulous their credentials look on paper is your perception of how much they care about your case. I’d rather have someone fighting for me that cares over someone who only seems interested in collecting their fee and moving on to the next case. People seem to do a better job when they care. Senior citizens stay healthier and live longer when they perceive that they mean something to others and that other people care.
