Fast, Good and Inexpensive 

I’m often asked for a referral/recommendation for different trades. Designer, landscaper, hairdresser, painter, plumber, handyman, etc. Most people say they are looking for someone who is good, fast and inexpensive. Wouldn’t that be nice! 

The reality is that you can only have two of those things at the same time. I say, “pick two of those and I’ll point you in the right direction.”

Is it fast and good that you are looking for? That won’t be inexpensive.

Is it inexpensive and fast? That product probably won’t be good. You get the idea. 

I am all for shopping around to get the best deal, but make sure you are comparing apples to apples. A haircut at a Super Cuts is going to be significantly less than one at Ceron Hair Studio. This is your head we are talking about. It goes with you everywhere. Why in the world would you want a discount on that? I’m not saying everything requires top of the line but there is a reason the saying, “You get what you pay for” exists.

I’m at the age where I’d rather have water than cheap wine. The hangover in the morning is too expensive for me!
